Northwest Center Networking Open House
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2010 Networking Open House on May 20th!
We had over 225 guests who networked, enjoyed great food, wine and beer and learned about our businesses.
Thank you to our keynote speaker, Jeff Kemp from Families Northwest. Also to our testimonial speakers Alex Acevedo from Symetra Financial, Ken Smith from SmartPlug and Brant Williams from ReBinder.
Special thanks to our in-kind supporters: Jody Cloutier, Costco, D&B Aldridge Enterprises, Elysian Brewing Company, Gary and Parul Houlahan, Proline/Avidex, Salty’s Restaurant, Seattle Aquarium Society, and the Seattle Art Museum.
Northwest Center held a special event on St. Patrick’s Day—a small gathering of its strongest supporters, many of whom committed to being ambassadors for Northwest Center and people with developmental disabilities.
As a whole, the group pledged to raise over $100,000 to cover gaps in the network of services for kids and adults in our programs. The funds will cover things like tuition for children whose families cannot afford childcare and young adults who need assistance to transition from school to the workforce.
Several of Northwest Center’s successes were expertly represented by program participants who joined President & CEO Tom Everill for a conversation onstage. The stories wowed the guests, who were inspired to join us and promote our message of inclusion.

We want to get to know our community and want you to get to know us! Please join us to learn more about Northwest Center, how we accomplish our mission daily and how you can fit into our vision for the future. If you're interested in a tour, just call us at 206-378-6379 or e-mail us.
