everyone brings strengths to the group—and together they learn
and grow.”

The Northwest Center Child
Development Program, founded over 40 years ago, offers early childhood education, early intervention and full
day childcare. Our model integrates children
who have developmental delays or disabilities with their typically developing
peers—and has been
nationally recognized for giving children of all ages a place to learn,
play and grow together.
We are a licensed provider of childcare for infants and children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age—as well as a state contracted provider of birth-to-three Early Intervention Services. We strive to provide an inclusive environment in which all families receive individualized programs of education, advocacy, therapy and family support that nurture the development of children with and without disabilities.
The Child Development Program is located in the old North Queen Anne Elementary School Building near Seattle Pacific University, at the corner of 1st Avenue West and Florentia. It has easy access to Hwy 99, I-5 and downtown. It’s also close to Metro Bus Routes 13, 3, 4 and 17.
